Luba Beeks Halmo  is the creator, designer and ‘artist with the needle’ at Beeks Bespoke.

 

Luba, who is mostly self-taught, studied Costume Interpretation at University of Arts London where she specialised in theatrical costume, historical reproduction and dancewear. She graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree and a 1st Prize Industry Award.

 

Alongside studies, her designing skills have been enhanced through various short courses run by Central St. Martin’s College and the London College of Fashion which are both renowned for producing the biggest talents in the fashion industry.

 

After her work made an appearances in the V&A, John Soan’s Museum, Hampton Court, Whitehall’s Banqueting house and commissions from Her Majesty’s Theatre for the Phantom of the Opera and Shakespeare’s Globe, ‘Beeks Bespoke’ was born.

 

Beeks Bespoke specializes in the art of corsetry, costume and bridal wear for brides that dare to be different. Each piece is especially designed and lovingly sculpted to absolute perfection and a superb fit. Hand painted silks, screen printing and elaborate embellishment such as couture lace, beading or embroidery adds an extra dimension to all garments creating completely unique pieces. All to be treasured and not only to be worn but also to be admired on display.
